A new tile brand <Alternative Artefacts Danto>
"Archaeology of Tiles" will be exhibited in Milan

In April 2024, we will launch a new tile brand <Alternative Artefacts Danto (abbreviation: A.a. Danto)> at Milan Design Week.

<A.a. Danto> connects the past and the future through cutting-edge creativity, tireless research and development of ceramic clay, and precise manufacturing technology, expanding the possibilities of tiles through design.

The venue for the presentation will be the 5VIE district, a building built in the 8th century. Here, we will present an installation entitled "Archaeology of Tiles" that proposes the possibilities of tiles in daily life, from the past to the future.

The exhibition will showcase for the first time a collection designed by Teruhiro Yanagihara Studio, who is in charge of creative direction, and India Mahdavi, A.a. Danto's first collaborator. We will look back on Danto's history through exhibits such as Minpeiyaki and tiles.
