New collections by Claesson Koivisto Rune Architects and Ingegerd Råman presented

In June 2026, the tile brand Alternative Artefacts Danto (A.a. Danto) presented its new collections at 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen, Denmark.

A.a. Danto connects the past and the future through pioneering creativity, continuous research into clay, and refined manufacturing techniques, expanding the possibilities of tiles through design.

The presentation took place at NILS STÆRK, a gallery space in the Nyhavn area in central Copenhagen. There, tiles were reconsidered beyond their role as a building material — as objects with a presence of their own, and as a material that reaches beyond function and use. The exhibition space was designed by Teruhiro Yanagihara Studio, who leads the brand’s creative direction.

The exhibition unveiled “Cell” and “Soft” by Claesson Koivisto Rune Architects, joining the project for the first time, and “Da Capo” and “Tile in Number” by Ingegerd Råman, alongside the first showing outside Japan of “Nougat” and “Fabric” by Teruhiro Yanagihara Studio, launched in Japan in November 2025. Claesson Koivisto Rune Architects explored rhythm, texture and modular composition, while Ingegerd Råman worked from a delicate sensitivity to proportion, light and material. During the same week, “Ladder” by India Mahdavi, first presented at Milan Design Week 2024, was on view at other circle.
